2010 Wildlife Weekend Photo Contest Winners
Winners of the 2010 Wildlife Weekend Photography Contest were announced during our annual event at the park last week. The contest was open to amateur photographers submitting pictures taken at Steele Creek Park in Bristol, Tennessee.
Winners included:
First Place – Diana Sheppard for “Something Fishy”
Second Place – George M. Ferrell for “Jumping into Mirrors”
Third Place – Deborah Blevins for “Welcome Spring”.
Honorable Mentions went to Deborah Blevins for “Flower Abstract”, Rich Buddine for “Bridge to Winter”, Terri Campbell for “Canoe on the Lake” and “Fish Hook“, Jason Canter for “Duck Reflections” and “Nickel Snapper”, Bill Lancaster for “Testing the Water”, Brenda Parsons for “Caught!”, and Diana Sheppard for “Splitting Shroom”.
This continues to be a very popular part of the annual Wildlife Weekend event. As always, we were impressed with the quality of the photos and the wide variety of subjects. We especially appreciate the help of our judges, Earl Niekirk and Ben Walls.
