Annual Park Events

The Park is CLOSED today, so the scheduled Groundhog Day Program has been cancelled! Stay warm and safe.

Join us for Groundhog Day 2026 Monday, February 2nd, 3:30 PM Celebrate Groundhog Day by meeting at the Nature Center for a fun walk about, not just these fascinating animals, but also the cosmic importance of this seemingly silly holiday! ATTENTION: The Winter hike at Steele Creek Park that was scheduled for Sunday, January 25th has been CANCELLED. The department will be making a decision if the park will be open or closed for the weekend due to the weekend forecast. A spring hike will replace the winter hike, so please stay tuned for further announcements.
