Friends of Steele Creek Park announce the opening of the annual Wildlife Weekend Photography Contest and Show. Amateur photographers are encouraged to participate, with categories for Adults and Youth (photographers under 16). Eligible photographs must be taken within the boundaries of Steele Creek Park in Bristol, Tennessee and should be focused on the natural aspects of the Park. Submission are open now through September 16, 2026.

Cash prizes will be awarded, based on the general interest, creativity, and technical merits of the photographs. Winners will be announced at Wildlife Weekend, Friday, October 9, 2026.

All entries will be displayed online during the year following Wildlife Weekend and electronically at The Nature Center beginning Friday, October 9, 2026.; prints of all prize winning entries will be displayed at The Nature Center at Steele Creek Park beginning November 1, 2026.

The deadline for submitting photographs, application forms, and entry fees is Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
