The Friends of Steele Creek Nature Center and Park would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the City of Bristol TN’s Department of Community Relations for their outstanding work in producing a video chronicling the history and impact of our organization. View the video here: https://youtu.be/YGxppM_athM?si=cv94jkRTDfZi0Qgd We are especially grateful to Anne Dunham for her exceptional leadership, creative vision, and attention to detail throughout the entire process. Her dedication to telling the story of Friends in such a compelling and thoughtful way has resulted in a piece that beautifully captures the heart of our mission, the legacy of community service, and the vital connection between people and the natural beauty of Steele Creek Park. This video not only celebrates the rich history of our organization, but also serves as an inspiring reminder of what can be accomplished through collaboration, volunteerism, and a shared love for nature. It is a valuable resource that will help us share our story with new audiences and strengthen support for the park we cherish. We are deeply thankful for the time, talent, and professionalism of the entire Community Relations team. Their work reflects the best of public service and exemplifies the strong partnerships that make our community thrive.
It’s time for another hike with the Commander. HEAT does not stop him! Join Harvey and fellow hikers on WEDNESDAY, July 16th at the Mill Creek Parking lot at 2:00 pm for a slightly difficult 3.5 mile hike through the periphery of Trinkle Hollow in the park. This hike should take around 2 hours (give-or-take for a few Commander jokes on the side) to complete. Hope to see you there on Wednesday. Happy Trails to all!
