The next Hike with Harvey will be on Wednesday, 19 November. Meet at Rooster Front parking lot at 2:00 pm for a moderately difficult 4 mile hike to the entrance into Slagle Hollow via the LakeRidge Trail, HighRidge Trail, and CrossRidge Trail. Total time should be about 2 1/2 hours. Hope to see you there.

The Bristol Bird Club will be conducting their monthly bird walk at Steele Creek Park on Thursday, November 13th. We’ll leave from the Mill Creek Parking Lot on Broad Street at 8:30 am. Leaders will be there at 8:00 am to first walk a bit on the creek side (across from the parking lot) before the actual walk begins into the park at 8:30 am. The walk should last about 2 hours. Extra binoculars will be available for anyone needing a pair. Come spread your wings with the BBC!
